Aaron + Michelle = Engaged

I had a super fun time taking engagement pictures in the sun with Aaron & Michelle. They were cracking me up the whole time. We started at Gasworks Park then headed up to Kerry Park to get a better view of the Space Needle. I’ll get a slideshow up by the end of the week so check back for more.

We had a lot of fun out in the country on this bff shoot. The girls were so easy to work with and natural in front of the camera. By the end of the shoot they said they want us to take their senior pictures, engagement pictures, wedding pictures, baby pictures, and family pictures! Yes, maybe they're thinking a little too far ahead, but we'd love to have clients that come back to us at different stages in life.

It was fun capturing this little cutie in her element, playing with her toys and reading her books. She turned one last month and she's starting to take a few steps and say a few words.

I'm going to Vegas baby!

For some people like me who don't gamble, that might not sound very exciting, but I'm totally stoked. So why you ask might I be going? For nothing other than the biggest wedding and portrait photographers convention in the world. You can ask Kristy. For the last year there hasn't been a day when I don't think about photography. I love it. I'm infatuated with it. Over the past year I've taken nearly 70,000 photos.

At WPPI, I'm going to be taking classes from some of the biggest names in wedding photography. I'm excited to bring back some of the latest in albums, techniques and ideas for all of my clients.

Any of you wedding photographers out there may find this video funny, it's got some of of the big names in photography in it.

Amanda + Aaron = Engaged

Amanda and Aaron live in California and flew up over the weekend for their engagement session. After weeks (possible months) of rainy, gloomy weather, I woke up yesterday to the sun shining through my window and looked outside to find a perfectly clear sky. It was a perfect day in Seattle for an engagement session. Amanda and Aaron are a cute couple and way fun to work with. I can't wait to see them again at their wedding in August.

What a trip

I finally decided to go through my pics from Mexico. It was absolutely awesome. I mean I do love the rain and the all the green of the northwest, but it's nice to go get some sun and forget about working for days. I didn't think it would be a highlight, but not having access to my cell phone or internet was like living an alternate life. Our biggest worries were what to see and eat next.

I loved the port In LA. We were next to the coolest bridge.

The dining on the ship was excellent, some people chose to eat hot dogs and hamburgers by the pool but for the same price we always opted to eat 5 course dinners.

I love fresh fruit, it's amazing what you can get on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere.



We were able to see some ruins in Colima, they just discovered them less than 20 years ago and they've only dug up a small percentage of what's there
